Why do you use Sodium Hydroxide (Lye)?
There are a few reasons we use lye in our soap:
- It's the most natural way to make soap, allowing us to stick with the most traditional methods possible.
- Using lye avoids the use of unnecessary synthetic chemicals that can cause skin irritation or allergies.
- Because lye creates soap with powerful natural cleansing properties, it makes for an amazing bar of handmade soap!
Are your products cruelty free/vegan?
All of our products are cruelty free and never tested on animals. Additionally, the majority of our products are vegan with the exception of a couple that use honey or beeswax. See product page for more information.
What is the shelflife of your products?
From the time you receive your products, the average shelf life is between 6-12 months. To prolong the shelf life, we recommend storing any unopened products in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight.
When will I receive my order?
Unless otherwise specified, our typical fulfillment time is 3-5 business days to prepare your order to be picked up from USPS. Keep in mind that the advertised time frame from your shipping option is in ADDITION to our fulfillment time frame.
My tracking says the package was delivered, but I don’t have it?
Don’t Panic! We have noticed with USPS, that there are times where they may prematurely mark something as delivered, when in fact it is still in transit. Give it another day or two to see if it shows up. If not, contact your local post office to begin the process of filing a missing claim and email us at [email protected]
